Our Dedication to Food Safety Is Unsurpassed
At Bunge Milling, our reputation for product safety is the gold standard of the industry. In fact, it’s such a high priority at Bunge Milling that we’ve created an entire department whose sole purpose is to look for new and better ways to ensure product safety.
Bunge Milling’s team communicates regularly with government officials from the USDA, FDA and CFIA. And since 1952, our Good Manufacturing Practices Seminar has been attended by more than 6,000 representatives from U.S. corn and wheat millers and major food processors. Each year, this intensive, three-and-a-half-day seminar sheds light on the latest in federal regulations and guidelines, food safety and, more recently, bioterrorism prevention. We’re proud to note that our own clients frequently adopt sanitation and food safety practices based on Bunge Milling’s innovations.
Risk Management
Bunge Milling continually monitors commodity markets to keep customers informed about trends affecting grain prices. This service translates into pricing flexibility for customers as Bunge Milling offers a variety of pricing options and risk management strategies.
Locations and Logistics
Our strategic locations throughout North America create several advantages for our customers:

Bunge Milling operates five mills including Danville, Illinois, the largest corn dry mill in the world. Bunge Milling also operates a network of grain elevators based in Homer, Illinois.
More Capacity, More Options
Another advantage we offer customers is impressive capacity:
- Processing: annual capacity of more than 70 million bushels of corn and wheat

Bunge Milling has more processing plants than any of our competitors. This capacity is very flexible and can produce large quantities for peak demand periods. As part of Bunge Limited, our global capacity extends to more than 30 countries.
